If this telephone is connected to a electronic modular switching system, please refer to the user manual of the system and just follow the simple steps and presto.. tnxYou need to make sure you are doing it on the main extension - usually 101. On other extensions it won't work and you will get the 3 beeps.Press program
then 0
(this will then display current date and time - overtype as follows)
eg. for Friday 2nd November 2007 8:58 am you type the following
071102 (date backwards) [space] 5 (Friday is 5th day of week) [space] 0858 (time) [space] 0 (0 is am, 1 is pm)

IPhone 3G bluetooth problem

Problem:

I can't get my iPhone 3G to detect other bluetooth devices. Some devices detect it, but are unable to pair with the Iphone 3G.

This iPhone 3G bluetooth problem is another one in a chain of iPhone 3G problems, i'm starting to regret i bought it.

Solution:
  1. Don't worry all of the iPhone 3G problems will be solved, including the bluetooth problem, & you will be able to enjoy your iPhone 3G.

The iPhone eG bluetooth problem is quite easy to fix -

    Rest car hands free
    Reset iPhone 3G
    Now your pairing should work.
  2. I just got it to work. Follow these steps:

    On iPhone:
    1) Go to Settings
    2) Go to Reset
    3) Select "Reset All Setting" (Make sure you save passwords. Data is safe.

    On Car:
    Clear all previous pairings.
Once iPhone reboots, turn on Bluetooth.

My apple iPhone display screen

Problem:

my apple iPhone display screen is completly black but the touchscreen is still working

Solution:

Late reponse...
I noticed the same thing yesterday night with iPhone the first version. I was browsing the photos while my wife was using/talking to someone via the bluetooth connection. When she disconnected she noticed pitch black screen, did not response to any operation, but the phone seems to be working - I redialled through my bluetooth, mute worked, charging beeped etc. I was browsing through some other site for the issue and some posted that press and hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons. It did not respond immediately but after a few seconds pressing Sleep/Wake showed some response, rebooted after that. Hope this helps.

3G Iphone froze at Apple Screen, no way to restart...

Problem:

While downloading bloomberg app, it hung up and i reset the phone during the install. Since then, it has displayed the apple start up screen and thats it. If you power down the phone completely and reboot it it goes right back to that screen and hangs up. Worse yet, when I plug it into itunes it freezes my computer up until you unplug it again. I'm being escalted as we speak after 45 mins on the phone going thru basics with an Apple Tech. No luck there!

Solution:
  1. turn iphone off the at same time press and hold both the home button and on off button down until apple logo appears then wait till slide phone to on comes up.
  2. Try This:1. Remove Sim Card
    2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
    3. Replace Sim Card
    4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

This 'fix' worked for me when my phone froze today. Hope it might help others too.
  3. I had the similar problem. Found this suggestion on the web to reset iPhone 3G to it's original settings. You may have to restore your media and data files after resetting. It's the only way out for me since I can't get beyond the "Apple Logo" thingy, and I am too lazy to bring it down to the Apple Store.

    Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
    2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

Ipod Itouch Disabled

Problem:

How to reset password on itouch

Solution:

First you need to read this page and follow the instructions on settings the touch into recovery mode

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

ones in recovery mode you can remove the code by restoreing the ipod with itunes heres how

Restore

Note: Because Restore erases all of the songs and files on iPod, make sure to back up any files you've saved on the iPod disk. All of your songs, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, and games can be loaded back to your iPod provided that you have them stored in your iTunes Library.
How to restore your iPod:
For Windows:
1. Make sure you've reinstalled the latest version of iTunes. 2. Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer. 3. After a few moments, it will appear in the source list in iTunes. 4. Select your iPod in the source list and you will see information about it appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows. 5. Click the Restore button. You will be prompted with one or more restore options that may prompt iTunes to automatically download of the latest iPod Software. The 4 possible restore options are: Restore Option 1: Restore - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod. Restore Option 2: Use Same Version - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod even though a newer version is available. Restore Option 3: Use Newest Version - Restores with the latest iPod Software on your computer. Restore Option 4: Restore and Update - Restores with the latest iPod Software on your computer. 6. A progress bar will appear on the computer screen indicating that the first stage of the restore process has started. When this stage is completed, iTunes will instruct you to leave iPod connected to your computer to complete restore. 7. During the stage 2 of the restore process, the iPod will show an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remains connected to the computer or iPod Power adapter during this stage. Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see since the backlight on the iPod display may be off. 8. After stage 2 of the restore process is complete and the iPod is connected to the computer, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear asking you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences similar to when you connected your iPod for the first time.

Problem: My ipod touch freezes at the apple and the little loading circle just keeps going and it beeps tried restore but that don' work it says ther

Problem:

My ipod touch freezes at the apple and the little loading circle just keeps going and it beeps tried restore but that don' work it says there is an error with the resotre can any on help

Solution:

What You have to do is hold the top button and the power button at same time for more than 25 second this will lead to recovery mode, on recovery mode you connect to your pc and then restore it , if is taking longer to get into recovery mode plug it in the power adapter and then put in recovery mode. once you have it restore it.

This happen to me, it got stuck on the apple screen and it was restarting on and off and i could connect it because it recognize it when it turn on and few a second later it turn off.

so just put it in recovery mode first and then restore it.it happened to me too.but instead of leaving it to charge while frozen, i decided to leave it on for the night, till the battery went really low.then it went back to normal and everything started working again and thats when i began charging it again.i hope this makes sense. It depends on the severity and the settings you have given the iPod... Here's the full explanation. I would recommend reading the second paragraph first, but the solution if you really forgot your password is in the first paragraph.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device on the computer that was used to originally sync the iPhone or iPod touch so that you can reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced to the iPhone or iPod touch, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode but your data will not be present. Refer to "Updating and restoring iPhone and iPod touch software."

"If you enter the wrong passcode too many times, you'll see a message that says "iPhone is disabled" and to try again later. If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, iPhone or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals, before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect to the computer you normally sync with. Note that starting with iPhone 2.1 software, there is a setting to cause the device to erase itself after 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts. This setting is off by default. It can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you enter a correct passcode."
